2nd Grade

Hello! My name is Mikayla Stevens and I am a part of the 2nd Grade Team! Originally from Valparaiso, IN, I attended Manchester University where I earned a B.S. in Physical Education and Health. After completing my student teaching at Wabash High School, I began teaching 2nd Grade at OJN. I have since earned my Elementary Teaching License as well! My husband Jake and I live in Wabash with our two Golden Doodle pups, Beau and Bane. I have loved being a part of the 2nd Grade team for the last 3 years!

My name is Rebeca Zurita. I am from Cordoba (Spain). I decided to come here with my husband and two kids who are both in school here. For us, it's a wonderful experience to live in another country, learn a new culture, and improve our English. We love the USA! I graduated from the University of Cordoba in teaching studies: Elementary. 2 years later I graduated from the University of Granada in Physical Education. I have also done many teaching courses and have a Master's Degree in Diet and Healthy Food.

Hi! My name is Alicia Gullotti and I am a member of the 2nd Grade team. I was born and raised in Wabash. I earned my teaching degree at Western Governor's University. I also previously taught Art here at OJN for 5 years! Most of my free time I spend with my family watching my daughter play sports! She plays travel softball year-round as well as travel volleyball.

Hi! I'm Melissa Lang, and I am a part of the 2nd Grade team at OJN. Originally from Warsaw, I attended college at North Central University in Minneapolis. After graduating I returned home, and immediately started working for Wabash City Schools. I have been teaching 2nd Grade for 12 years now and absolutely love being in the classroom with my students! I love helping my students grow and gain knowledge, helping guide them to become the best person they can be, both socially and academically.
